BHIM UPI App Records 10 Million Downloads- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday recently revealed that BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) app has recorded 10 million downloads. The prime minister said, BHIM App is launched to promote digital len-den, and has achieved the 10-million-downloads within 10 days.
“Delighted to know that in a span of 10 days there have been over 10 million downloads of the BHIM App. BHIM App has made transactions faster and easier, thus making it popular among the youth. The App is also beneficial for traders,”, the prime minister said.
“The BHIM App is a fine example of Make in India and how technology is being effectively used to end the menace of corruption and black money.”
BHIM app is Paytm plus extra features
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced BHIM to the entire nation as a new year’s gift. While average citizens are yet to understand, what exactly BHIM App is? Why is it important?

Suppose your name is Rajesh then you must have Rajeev@boi and Rajeev@sbi as Virtual payment address to a transaction between the Bank Of India and State Bank of India.

Compared to the BHIM app, it’s a single interface based on UPI which can be synced to any of the UPI-enabled bank accounts. Although only one UPI-enabled account can be added to BHIM at the same time but you can switch anytime to another UPI-enabled bank account. This is the fantastic feature ever given by any app, and it is none other than BHIM App.
